Halloween Carnival

Chadbourne Elementary School’s Halloween Carnival

Chadbourne Halloween Carnival projects pave a way for a safer community reunion on a relaxed fun environment with families, school staff, teachers and principal. The carnival brings together 6th graders, middle school, high school students, boys scouts, cub scouts, and girls scout to work towards a common goal, that is learning leadership, giving back to community, safety and having fun. The parent volunteers showed proud contributions to a fun-filled family event. The school staffs, teachers and principal involved in handing out trick or treat parade candies to the students, how grateful they are to the students and to the community. The kids are honored to receive candies from their teachers. Creating a memorable day is the greatest impact on our community.

What is the Halloween Carnival? And how does this all work?

Chadbourne’s Carnival is a place for kids to wear their Halloween costume, play games, and win prizes.

Kids can show up from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday the 27th. For those who are interested, there will be a “Trick-or-Treat Parade” between 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm where parent volunteers (and maybe some teachers) will hand out candies to the kids. Pizza, snacks and drinks will be available in the Multi-Use Room. We'll also have games set up around the playground and blacktop. These will be things like Bean Bag Toss, Duck Splash, Carnevil Kerplunk, and other fun games. You'll order a wristband for every person who wants to win candy and prizes by playing those games, whether that's a Chadbourne student, an adult, or friends from another school. You'll get a wristband and a “trick-or-treat” bag.

What's this “Raffle Ticket” all about? And, what about “Cake Walk”?

We're working with local businesses and others who are donating some fabulous prizes, like gift cards to their store and even a 3D Printer! The super-duper, Grand Prize is a 4-pack of Disneyland Passes worth over $650! When you pre-order raffle tickets, we’ll take care of all the details, including putting the tickets in the raffle drum for you. Each ticket gives you a chance at winning one of the many prizes we're still in the process of getting. Raffles will be on going from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm in a timed interval! By the way, this is just about how often we ran the “cake walk”, which is something like musical chairs, but the winner gets cupcakes or cookies or something similar.
