Volunteering

Thanks to all the parents who have already volunteered their time!
We appreciate your support!

Our amazing parent volunteers help give Chadbourne students a well-rounded and fun experience in school. In fact, the review committee for the California Distinguished School Award praised the incredible dedication of the parents who show their support of Chadbourne.

We are introducing a new volunteer sign up tool Konstella to help you view and sign up for school wide and classroom volunteering needs in a single place, receive classroom announcements from your children's teachers and to connect with other parents. If you have not already done so, please sign up for Konstella.

There are at least two ways Chadbourne parents can help the school by volunteering their time:

Help out in the classroom:

On Back to School Night (August 24, 2015 for Kindergarten and September 15, 2015 for grades 1-6), teachers will provide information about where they need help for their classrooms, specifically. Check with your teacher, or e-mail us at the address below, to let your teacher know where you can help.

Teachers are especially in need of Room Parents. Room parents help the teacher communicate with the rest of the parents, and may help the teacher organize class events and parties. A small group of room parents can split the duties and make it easier on everyone.

Help support Chadbourne activities school-wide:

The CFFA sponsors a number of school-wide activities throughout the year, and it takes the hard work and dedication of many parents to make sure these activities are successful. Check out the links for ongoing school activities and for specific events for details about the events. The CFFA hopes that you will take some of your time to contribute to all these great activities.

Thank you all in advance for working to make this school year a fun and memorable experience for all Chadbourne students and families!
